For almost a century, Serbian alternative comics and other visual literature have been highly valued as one of the world's most interesting centres of this art form. „Stres bojanka za nedorasle” now adds to that reputation, in a fresh and undeniably controversial way.
Written by Milica Stojanović and drawn by Danica Radović, this collection of memetic miniatures parodies but also revitalizes an influential genre of art hobbies – coloring books for adults. It does so with fun and humor, but also with merciless satire and a radical critique of today's civilization, which tends to crush humanity into transparent, remote-controlled mediocrities. It is especially witty that the clichés of female and youth subculture, as the most vital and most present ones in the civilization of social networks and fast-changing fashions, were taken as the source of inspiration and of archetypal situations.
The expression of this work is close to memes as influential units of cultural viruses, which is fertile ground for a whole series of such charming and sharp books.

RECOMMENDATION
I enjoyed the short and witty wisdom. I enjoyed no less the phenomenal drawings by Danica Radović. This deserves to be made known. „Stres bojanka za nedorasle” therefore deserves only the best publisher – a publisher worthy of this coloring book.
No reader should be deprived of this coloring book. Anyone who loves their neighbor would prove it by giving them this coloring book. Many who do not love their neighbor, just because it is God's commandment, would buy them the crayons too. Anyone who picks up „Stres bojanka za nedorasle” and fills it with their own palette will spend their time returning to normal. I don't know whether this coloring book is a greater literary or visual event. It works equally well as a book and as an exhibition. It could also be used as a powerful therapeutic tool for getting out of the cosmic madness we have been living in for years.
I would praise even more of what the two of them have done, but I have to get back to the coloring book. I have started on blue, and later I will move on to red. Then I will go through the whole known spectrum. And so on until I grow up. And when I have grown up to this book, I will give it to someone else to read and color.

This is not a game with crayons. This is a punch in the ribs of everyday life. The drawings pull no punches – grotesque and tender, witty and bitter. They are therapy and graffiti at once. They make us look at dirty walls, at our own chaos, at a society that serves up a circus of the absurd every day. They are not here to lull us, but to wake us. Stres bojanka za nedorasle is social criticism disguised as pictures to color, a visual performance in which every line has a tail and every page hides a comment.
